Perhaps this goes against the Ryver UX philosophy, but I find myself constantly searching for a "Back" button that would return me to whichever view I was previously on.

The Ryver system lets you link between posts and forums, but provides no way to return. This forces you to have to navigate back to the original forum/post to continue on with what you were reading. It would be great to have this "Go back" functionality.

It could save a lot of time if when pasting formatted text (RTF) e.g. something copied from a website, a word document or similar you got the option to automatically convert it to the markdown syntax in use by Ryver. I have noted Ryver supports more formatting than what is documented like tables and those are a pain to create manually but even just supporting some basic markdown conversion could save time or help making pasted text more easily readable.

Can't install ryver app on my phone which uses android 4.1 - would like to move from Slack but this is a deal-breaker for me and probably many others

As a user I want to filter all Users with status "online" in the DM list, so I can know who I can chat with in that moment.

I would like to see a method to download an image file without having to first open it in a browser and then download it using the browser.

I am part of the core team of India's largest student run cultural fest. We have a team of nearly 500 students for organising with 11 sub departments and 5 levels of organisation. There is a lot of inter-department relationship both on line and offline. For this finding people using their department and organisation level is necessary. Also there are certain personal details that are necessary (like room number and college ID) that we need to reach them on line and offline and for bureaucratic reasons. I suggest you add a feature to create a custom profile information form when the primary owner creates the team. Also when inviting team members allows admins to fill in the organisation level. It is similar to the profile information available on the enterprise version of outlook. This makes team building on ryver so easy. The alternative we are currently using is to hack the "role" field for this purpose. But it is not an elegant solution. Also our team-mates have to instructed to type the role in a certain format. Enforcing standards is very difficult especially when number of team-mates are large.

Would be nice if the account switcher side bar will also be in the browser page not just the mobile or desktop app.

If I am not mistaken, you only receive a notification on your mobile or desktop client of the account you are currently signed-in.

The other accounts are treated as if you are signed-out and hence do not receive push notifications. Would be great to receive these notifications across all accounts and have an indicator on the account-switcher sidebar displaying an unread icon for the specific account.

It would have been great to have the abillity to put permanent "custon links" in groups. This enables Teams/Groups to pin external web applications they use alot directly in Ryver.

It's sometimes nice to be able to tell instantly tell who is sending you a message. Might require adding more sounds or even better the ability to add your own sounds.

The search feature currently searches the "Role" field of people's profiles, but it does not search the "About me" field. It would be useful to search the "About me" fields in order to search for expertise within my organization: e.g., if someone enjoys a certain hobby or knows a certain programming language.

As the number of users on an account increases, so does the number of open forums.

Allowing team ownership of forums would help organize many forums that may only be relevant to certain teams. Cutting down on the number of forums everyone else must sort through.

When restarting Ryver, it picks up where you last left off. This is often confusing and disorienting. It's like opening up the NY Times app and instead of it showing you the latest news, it shows you the last article you were reading. The majority of the time I log in, I'm not intending to pick up where I left off; I want to assess the latest information and then navigate as I see fit. 

Just as Outlook and many other apps, When starting or logging into Ryver, I would like it to give the user an option to either start on a home page  or pick up where I left off (actually the latter would be a welcome button on the home page). Even better if the user could tailor this to their own preferences such as show unread notifications (with previews), show latest activities, show current, overdue, or upcoming tasks/task reminders, etc.
