GitHub integration

michael 6 years ago 0

Much better with included integration rather than Zapier.

Addendum: Would be nice to be able to randomize X users (from a certain set) to review a Pull Request

Remember the last Forum, Team or User that a picture was shared with

Ben 7 years ago updated 7 years ago 1

Each time I send a picture to a Forum, Team or User from my iPhone, the Ryver mobile App has some other Forum, Team or User as the default and I need to keep changing it to the one I want.  I would like the app to REMEMBER the last one I used, because that's most probably what I will mostly use.

Automatic Check-in/Workreport

Simon Gasser 7 years ago updated by Vance Yzbick 6 years ago 1

It would be great to have an automatic check-in as in Basecamp.

Every evening, or friday, or 1. of the mont...

I could imagine to have an "open forum" (or group) where every "round" of ceck-in reports are collected in one post.

and every invited user gets a notification in his chat.

Close all open Direct Messages

ryang 7 years ago 0

After a weeks worth of chatting my list of users I have direct messages with may grow to 20-30. It is a painful process to click on the X to close out each one. It would be nice to have a close all option or allow to select more than one at a time.

Allow admins to change user email

Austin Best 7 years ago 0

When a users email address is changed because the naming convention was changed or it was not put in right, there is no way to simply update an email address. By changing it (essentially creating an entirely new account) this leaves a duplicate user and also removes the ability for the person to view their chat history unless they juggle multiple accounts.

Restrict registration emails to corporate domain

Darrin 7 years ago updated 7 years ago 2

A competitor, has a great feature that restricts/or only allows email registrations from the corporate domain, without invitation. This way anyone in the company can join without needing to be invited. Of course you can also send an invitation to anyone who does not have a corporate email. This allows a lot of people to join with little or no administration.

Manage Tags should allow Manually Ordering the Tags

Sandro Ferreira 7 years ago 0

At this point we are using Tags as a way to implement Custom Fields that we had in Asana. So the Tags in Ryver are being used quite often and because of that they are very important and should be able to be Manually Ordered, so that is is easier to separate them in "groups" or "sections" of related Tags.

Post from Gmail to Tasks with Chrome Plugin

raum12 7 years ago 0

The Ryver Chrome Plugin currently lets you post to forums and teams from within Gmail and other websites.

It would be very useful if you could post as a task from within gmail. So that I can basically pin any email quickly to Ryver into my task list.

There are many plugins that let you create todo lists from gmail emails but having this connected to Ryver with the plugin would be great, possibly even having a menu item in the Gmail menu directly such as "Create Task in River..." or something like that in each message.

Highlight specific categories with a background color

Lauren 7 years ago updated by jarenp 7 years ago 1

I think it would be helpful if there was an option to highlight specific categories within a board by changing the background color of the category (see below).

For my personal task board, I have categories for rush requests and clarifications.  I'd find it helpful if these categories popped out at me.  I currently put tags on each task but this looks a little busy.  It also feels redundant to me when I put a tag called "Clarification" on a task I've put in the "Clarification" category.

For team boards, it could be helpful to color coordinate categories by department/project.  And/or any new categories could be assigned a color so they pop out to the team members.

Here's a quick mock-up of what I'm picturing:

Thanks!

Taskbar Notifications should take you to the message

MarcB 7 years ago 0

When I receive and click on a taskbar notification in Win10, it opens Ryver wherever I was last.  If I click the message in the taskbar, it should go directly to the message I'm clicking on.

Ctrl + Return for new lines like evey other chat application

Joel Jenvey 7 years ago 0

I had to look up how to create a new line in a Ryver message (Shift + Return). Every other chat application I've used (Skype, Lync, Slack, Facbook, Whatsapp) uses Ctrl + Return.

Would it be possible to change the key mappings to the more intuitive Ctrl + Return?

Schedule Future Post

mike walzl 7 years ago updated by CARLOS - EL COACH 7 years ago 1

Ability to have posts in Draft form or future schedule so that post can be created, and posted at a specified time/date. This keeps a post from getting "buried" in the stream at the time when it would be most relevant.

As a workaround - we create a post and toggle archive it, and when we want it to display, we un-toggle and sticky it to the top of the post feed.

Please, no notification of new tasks in team if not assigned to me / us

RvK 7 years ago updated 7 years ago 0

If he set's up a new projekt, the team leader starts hammering future tasks into the task list. Until he assigns each task to one member the list is just his plan. But every new task item causes a notification to each team member. Pling, pling, pling, pling, etc. :-)

We suggest that there are no notfications until a task is assigned to somebody.

Custom notification sounds

Fred The Ranger 7 years ago 0

Level for notifications is way too loud. I'd love to be able to upload my own or change the level of the existing ones.

Attachements not uploading

MarkB 7 years ago updated by VPHrishikesh Kokate 7 years ago 2

I'm editing a stickied post to attach new files. I intend to keep updating the top post to keep track of our meeting schedule and attach relevant files to this post. I tried uploading files from my harddrive to Ryver and attaching Google drive files, but although the text in the post is updated, the attachements do not show up at all. I tried the desktop client and the browser, neither are working.
