To start out with, we're going to look into a "Copy" option, then perhaps consider "Move". The main technical issue we need to address first will be creating a copy of any attachments in the post. Once we have the API in place for that, the UI will be reasonably straight forward.

Are you talking about when you edit a direct message? You're seeing all of the text get selected rather than the cursor just being at the end of the message?

I had originally planned to merge this request into the "Remind me" request for chat messages. But we will re-evaluate to see if it makes sense to offer both. We're probably a month out from starting on "Remind Me", but will see if this is something that could be worked on in parallel to another project we have going...

We'll be doing a significant update to our chat server architecture over the next 4-6 weeks that will allow us to then offer much more flexibility with the notifications, providing a more unified experience when being alerted of activity across chat, posts and comments.

We'll see if we can offer up some additional "push" notifications options in the interim.

We have somebody getting started on the Admin features now. This being one of them. The plan is still to just allow full deletion of users who haven't accepted an invite.

Today, when you suspend a user, they do go away from the Direct Messages list, and they don't show up in lookups such as the @mention auto-complete. However, if they have added content, you will still see them wherever that content exists.

Ok, the moving between Open Forums options sounds interesting. We will investigate that one, along with a "Copy" or "Share" option for posts in teams or between users.

We do understand that there are a number of Administrative controls that are very important for certain environments. And you're right that the "all admins are created equal" approach can be problematic. We'll go ahead and focus on that aspect of it first...looking into protecting the "super" Admin, then we'll get into the additional role levels.

It sounds like the most urgent levels above "Member" are one to manage/invite users, and another for being a forum moderator.

We now have pushed out the update with a "New Messages" watermark, so you can always see where you left off.
