Yeah, that's a good point. We'll have to take a look at Mailbird. Thanks!

We are going to be re-doing the navigation pane sometime in the next couple of months. We have a lot of ideas in mind, such as being able to drag-drop for placement of tabs, groupings, and collapsing/expanding the entire nav bar.

Showing the icons in the tab is an interesting one...I know we get a lot of people who want to fit as many things as they can, then others who would like to see more info per tab. We'll definitely be talking about the icon idea. Perhaps as a user option, or showing a really small one that zooms when you hover over it. Not sure.

The good news is that we have built the back-end support for custom slash commands. The bad news is that we now still need to schedule the time to write the front-end interface for adding your own and managing them. I don't have an ETA on that just yet.

We finally have initial webhook support running internally and will be rolling it out in a little over a week!

We do show previews of web links if the link is the last thing in your message/post OR if you "attach" the link via the paperclip button.

We're going to be working on adding "Simple Statistics" probably in the May timeframe. At this point, we were going to focus on rolled up statistic info for the Admin, not individual user statistics, but we will discuss that option. I'm also not sure at this time what level of statistics we will integrate into the free Ryver service, as opposed to being part of our upcoming premium service for businesses/enterprises.

We agree...the limited version we have in Ryver isn't very useful. We're going to look into simplifying the Hangout integration and just having a slash command.

The good news is that one of our developers has written an RSS Feed monitoring service, with a command-line interface in Ryver for subscribing to an RSS feed. The bad news is that we still need to schedule time to test it out more and to protect that service from abuse when we open it up to our full customer base.

We laid the groundwork for custom slash commands. We do still have some work to do in order to make them accessible to our customers.

There is one "hack" available today for starting up a call other than FreeConference...when you set up FreeConference, you can choose to create a new account or use an existing account URL. We don't actually validate that the URL is from FreeConference. So if you want to put your own URL in there, it will point to that. Granted, the message posted to the chat room will still say "Join my FreeConference".
