Single click "Like" button for mobile
Loving the functionality of the app so far. As it sits, this will be a huge asset for our office staff, but for some of the less tech savvy technicians we have in the field, an easily located single click "like" (or heart, like group me) would be very beneficial. Also being able to like directly from the notification on mobile.
Temporary mute notifications from forum
as i am member of many forums, sometimes i am flooded with notification from conversation that i am not interested in.
i would like to be able temporary mute notifications from particular forum for optional time (30min, 1hour, ...).
Search in the left panel: to quickly find any team, user or forum
I spend so much time looking for the person or team I want to chat with. A search for these would be very helpful!
User autocomplete while typing message should order by activity
When typing @ to mention a particular person in the window, the list of users should sort by most recent activity (ideally in the specific forum you're typing in).
This will in most cases make it way quicker to find the person you're attempting to mention, rather than having to write out a lot of their name before you can hit 'enter'.
Notification of updates for a specific team/open forum task board
We use Ryver task boards extensively to manage to-do lists, open support issues etc across our teams. Admin assign other users to tasks and these tasks transition through states to done and have comments added to them. We also have external guests assigned to those teams so external people can log tasks and track outstanding work related to them.
It's currently not easy to view new updates to a task board especially if you've been away from the board for a few hours depending on the activity.
It would be useful to be able to be able to view notifications that are specific to that team and not necessarily only showing notifications related to that user. For example. Notifications would show in date/time descending order when new tasks added, tasks assigned to users, commented and marked as done. Then like the current Notifications area the user can select the tick to indicate they have all been read.
This notification view could be added to the sidebar options along with Profile, Roster and Files. Any user in the team would have access to it.
Custom fields within tasks
It would be great to provide custom fields within task objects like on trello.
There its a "Power Up" function and really helpful.
You can note your project costs, estimated hours and much more.
While import my boards from trello, badly all these data is lost...
Checklist items with Assigned users and due dates
A task kan have several items at the checklist.
Sometimes you can consider them as a small (sub)task.
And often some of the items (I call them subtasks) must be done by different users.
It should be nice If you can assign a user to a item.
So the subtask wil be seen at the task stream of that user.
And It would even be greater if the item also has a due date.
The other way to do this is.
An Item in a Task is a connected to an already existing separate Task.
But I think that is more confusing.
To define custom @mention for certain team members similar to @here & @team
This feature will be very handy whenever you want to mention few members (of same role) in a private team chat or an open forum. This will stop bothering all team members @team or active team members @here who dont need any attention atm. Two instances of @mention for private team and global forum will be an additional benefit.
Example below:
1. Private Team: "@designerteam can you fix this design issue"
2. For global Forum: "@designerglobal we have a designers meet at this location"
Add ability so download file
Someone just sent me a XML file. On the desktop app, when I click the file it opens in the browser. please add a button to download the file
Allow emailing a user or group at their Ryver site
Given that many people use Ryver and email together in a corporate environment, it would be great if email messages could be forwarded to Ryver users or groups.
For example, if my Ryver site was example.ryver.com and my user was martin, then someone should be able to send an email to martin@example.ryver.com, and it should appear in my personal chat. Similarly, if there was a group called +idle on the site, someone should be able to send a mail to idle@example.ryver.com and it should appear in that group.
The post in either the personal chat or group should retain the attachments as well.
