Any updates on this? I am unsure of the length of time a "review" takes. This is the one thing that keeps bringing me to look at alternative solutions because so many in the company here want it and complain on a weekly basis.

It is such a simple feature request with such a great impact of user expierence...

That is fine and well for an always on scenario, however for the "automatic" users it doesnt fix the problem of not getting them. I'm going to stick with my suggestion that a simple hook to set away status automatically when the computer is locked would increase the amount of push notifications being delievered instead of missed because it takes X minutes to automatically set them to away.

I am going to also have to agree, something like this would be great. I dont care about the time/date as much as knowing if it was seen (similar to FB Messenger).

Yes, it seems the reload now has it showing again.

here is a quick screenshot. I sent her a message to get her to respond. As you can see the little moving icon next to her name is there showing she is responding, but the message on the bottom isn't.

Another thought for this Jeff, if the user locks their computer Ryver could then set them to "Away" in the desktop version? This would allow for an instant pickup of push notifications on mobile devices for those who lock their computers when they step away from them (most businesses i hope do this).

An IP address wont be reliable either though

Here is yet another example. I have not been getting the windows notifications since last thursday evening. Well this morning all of a sudden it decides to work so it is now catch up time. So all messages from thursday night until this morning are going to popup for the next hour or so. You can see the date in Ryver is friday for the popup i just got this morning.

This is pretty badly broken & has been for quite some time (well at least i consider 6 months for something like this quite some time)

Side note, i am not saying Growl is the best option as i mentioned in my OP, 3rd party software shouldn't be required. However if windows notifications cant be fixed to be consistent i was simply mentioning an alternative.

Yes & yes. I guess lack of release notes or notification keeps me posting things i might not really need to. Either way it is working as expected and i do see the manual update option now, thank you!
